Yeah Albert, I've changed your blog link to your new DOT COM URL...so please pimp my blog! XD

Just came back from 2-day 3-nights (har, weird right? ahahahah) coding adventure at Cyberia. Coding adventure = programming assignment. I'm less stressful doing this assignment since it's the last assignment of the semester. Exams start this Monday (ah, crap!) btw, please pray for me...I just want to pass muh exams and graduate a.s.a.p. Too many dreams have been delayed due to my negilatence in studies. :(

While doing the assignment, I chat with my groupmate (we did the coding at his house) about some secret societies and Biblical stories. To my shock, he have two books that I really want to read (since the little chat we had kinda related to this two books). The Da Vinci Code & The Gospel of Barnabas. I didn't really read the Barnabas...but finished the Da Vince. Nice book, the way the writer wrote the story made the story almost real since he incorporated existing venues/buildings/monuments, secret society and believeble theory.

Oh that fella also decipher the anagram inside Da Vinci Code movie trailer. Click on the pictures that will bring you the answer.

Can't wait to see the movie middle of this year. Although the chance of it to be banned here are quite high. LPF sucks. :(

Elena+Feebz's birthday this Saturday. Arr...it's been a while. It gonna be a good Saturday evening :)

Well, Screenshots today featured the Paul's Place raid issue. Kudos to Jeff for that.

For the report on today's press conference, you can point your browsers to RiceCooker. I got nothing much to say since RiceCooker alrdy sums it up nicely even though I was there at the press conference.

I'm kinda burned up...dunno why. Before i end this post, I got a lame black metal joke.

A:"Ko ni...pakai baju hitam. Font pun cam metal (refering to my Intel Game On t-shirt that I wore today)...black metal abis ko..."
Me : "WTF...memang black metal abis. Intel Black Metal siall..."

Extended joke :- Me: "Well, Imam masjid yang pakai baju hitam time khutbah solat Jumaat tuh pun ko nak panggil black metal ke?"

PWNAGE! w000000ttt!!

Update : Jeff Ooi just replied my email. He already in contact with Sonia and he'll talk about this issue at Screenshots tomorrow. Indie Musicians 1 - Media Bullshit+Hantam Kromo Authorities+Rakyat Kena Tipu 0.

I haven't talk about Black Metal issue yet right? Well, it's about time already I speak something about it. I received an email from Rafil Elyas from Disarseter Records Sdn Bhd. Read 'em below.

********
Overview
********
Paul's Place was raided on New Years Eve, 31/12/05 at approximately 10:30. Police were acting on an report that the gig was allegedly a Black Metal gathering. Bands that performed were, Crystal Lake (Japan), Force Vomit (Singapore), Cassandra, Second Combat, Devilica, Uphold, The Falling Grudge, M.U.Z.E, Net Restraint and Crestfallen. It is interesting to note that none of these bands is a Black Metal band. (Note: I only caught M.U.Z.E's set which was damn brilliant).

Paul, Ben (Bitches) and I were in Sri Hartamas when the raid occured, we left about 15 minutes before the raid. Contrary to popular belief neither Paul nor I were aware that this raid would happen. Paul was filling in on drums for Triple6Poser.

When we were informed of the raid, we immediately sought legal advisory and contacted Sonia Randhawa from the Center of Independant Journalism who in turned brought in HAKAM and SUARAM.

Paul wanted to go to the police station but after getting legal advice and discussion amongst ourselves, I felt it would be logical for Paul to wait until the courts open on Tuesday. If he were to go then/now, there is a possibility that he may be remanded (and rendered useless). I felt it would be more useful for him to use Sunday and Monday working on a legal strategy to get the detainees released and organize funds for bail if it becomes necessary. We told him to go home and headed to the police station.

Ben and I arrived at the police station at about 2am. CK (Ben's Bitches bassist) arrived shortly after. Friends and loved ones waited outside the station compound.

Detainees were released at approimately 5am. David (Paul's Place staff) and an indeterminate number of others were remanded and shall be brought to court on Tuesday/Wednesday to face charges.

Some detainees, Crystal Lake included, immediately went back to the police station and lodged a report on what they believed to be an unlawful detainment.

Ben and I left the scene at 6:00 am in the morning. CK was still there when we left.

*******
Details
*******

It is estimated that 380 persons were detained without cause. Those detained included Paul's Place staff David, members of Japanese band Crystal Lake, Singaporean outfit Forced Vomit and a lawyer from law firm Edwin Lim & Suren Advocates and Solicitors. All merchandise and movable equipment at the venue were confiscated.

It should be noted that not all those detained were physically in Paul's Place. Some were in the stalls outside eating, hanging out at the kaki lima, others were there to drop off friends.

Detainees were trucked to the Brickfields Police Station and tested for drugs. They were made to sit in the compound, men were went single file to give their urine samples, I assume the women were given a little more privacy. Friends and loved ones kept vigil outside the police station. No one was allowed to enter and meet with the detainees until they were processed.

Those who tested negative for drugs were released at approximately 5:00 am, I was there until 6:00 am and people were still being released. Some of the merchandise and equipment was returned to the owners. It is uncertain now many persons (if any) tested positive and held for a second urine test and/or remanded.

It is *uncertain* what the detainees were/are being charged for. Detainees could not get a straight answer from the police. Anedectotal information includes:

a) Black Metal/Devil Worshipping ceremony (to quote a TV reporter "Menyambut Tahun Baru dengan Syaitan" - something I wish I had tradmarked)

b) Illegal gathering (for those caught outside).

c) Operating/being in an unlicensed venue for David, organizers Paul's Place.

d) Undecent public display (I'm assuming wearing black t-shirts)

From what I understand Paul's Place is a licensed cafe. He is allowed to sell soft drinks and canned/bottled beer and host private events (i.e., gigs). The authorities have never seemed to have a problem with this until now.

HAKAM/SUARAM/CIJ/Media
**********************

Malaysian human rights organizations and watchdog groups HAKAM and SUARAM and the Center of Independant Journalism were present outside the police station demanding to speak with the OCPD and questioning the media.

N. Surendran from law firm Edwin Lim & Suren, lodged 3 police reports against Brickfields OCPD and 2 other high ranking officers within hours of the raid for the unlawful detainment of their staff lawyer who happened to be at the gig.

Media, newspapers, TV were present at the police station interviewing detainees and shooting pictures and footage. Some detainees were "asked nicely" to provide interviews with the TV journalists. Who were asked promptly complied.

Some detainees, approximately 15, who were released immediately returned to the station to lodge a police report against the Brickfields Police Station's unlawful detainment. Irene (frequent gig organizer and band nomad), Jay (Freelove) and Hana (Lucy in the Loo) were amongst those who took a stand and lodged the report.

In addition to that, Crystal Lake members too lodged police reports They had been advised to bring this matter up to the Japanese Embassy. I'm not sure if Forced Vomit submitted a report.

A young unidentified off duty cop came up to me and told me, "If I didn't have to work tonight, I would have probably been at Paul's catching the hardcore gig and with the detainees right now".

David and some other detainees have been remanded and will be brought to court to be charged on Tuesday or Wednesday since Sunday and Monday were public holidays. It will be impossible to contact them, bail them out or take any legal action until they have been charged.

We are working on a legal strategy to get David and the rest of the detainees out as soon as they get charged on Tuesday.

Post Mortem and Call for Action
*******************************
Kudos to you all who lodged police reports!

ALL THOSE WHO WERE DETAINED AND RELEASED ARE BEING URGED TO RETURN TO THE POLICE STATION AND LODGE A POLICE REPORT AND FILE A CLASS ACTION LAW SUIT AGAINST THE BRICKFIELDS POLICE STATION.

What the police did was unlawful and amounts to harassment. One can't be detained for listening to music (no matter how bad) or wearing black t-shirts and having dinner at a gerai.

Failure to take action NOW will allow for the possibility for this to happen again. I realize it is difficult for some to contemplate lodging a report or complaint due to several factors; parents, concern that you may be further persecuted (which won't happen) etc.

If enough people get together, it will be possible to organize a class action lawsuit. Edwin Lim & Suresh Advocates and Solicitors contact details below.

I have asked Suren to provide information on how to file a police report and participate in a class action lawsuit for this matter. I shall post that up as soon as I get it.

What can you do:
****************

It is important to ensure that incidents like this do not happen again. The community needs to send a message to the law enforcement agencies and show that they are not little school kids that can be easily intimidated and pushed around. They need to show that they are aware of the law and what their rights as citizens are.

Please do the following:
------------------------

a) If you haven't already: GO BACK AND LODGE A REPORT IF YOU WERE DETAINED. For those who weren't: get your friends who were involved to return to the station and lodge a report. Some don't feel comfortable doing so as they were made to feel they were guilty when the opposite is true. Support them.

b) Go to your MP, DAP complaints bureau and lodge a complaint.

c) File a class action lawsuit. Suren can assist with this. But he needs LOTS OF YOU TO PARTICIPATE.

I didn't really read the Mastika, Kosmo & Metro till the issue became such an...issue. I read the Mastika one...omg, so much of em full of bullshit. There's not even a solid proof.

I do agree that some very extreme Black Metal should be avoided at all circumstances (those play with blood and stuff) but these band are minority. Their fanatics fans also minority (which kinda lose screw, drink blood and all...wtf with u pple?). Don't just because of one genre, you want to go against all indie musicians. Somemore did you pple out there realise there's no real proof inside those articles? Go figure.

About the Mayhem concert cancelation (or rather the ban of Mayhem), I think the organiser were idiots. First, your organiser name is Shaitan. Dude, wtf wrong with you? If i'm a menteri also, I dun give permit. It's not because I dun like the music (I dun like em anyway), but it's Shaitan man... Of course la kena ban! Then, you put the ads on a mainstream paper...kantoi laaa...wtf laa :p

Why slutty pop artist that their personal story are much popular than their "manufactured" music/material didn't get this kinda treatment? Go figure. If the authorities really meant "The artist image will tainted the morale & thinking of local youth", I think they should go after those slutty pop acts. But noooo, abang rock kapak kau jugak yang kena. Fuck, Megadeth also kena! Remember, a while ago? If not for the same "Black Metal" taik kerbau jantan, I can brag that I saw fricking Megadeth in Malaysia. Malaysia wooo! You don't get enough of international acts here, man...

Vote for me on the next national election so I can let all your loved bands to perform here. Educate the rakyat about music. Those moron at the parliament don't know shitz about other type of music than dangdut, Siti Nurhaliza, goyang gerudi or Entertainment with Spa Ho's(this dato got pwned! hey, even if he said he's there for his friends, there's others that do those kinda things. Eiiiyeerr!). ROFL.

Or maybe this is an effort to put down independent music scene since the scene are attacking mainstream industry with lotsa good acts lately? Woah, that's a fucking good conspiration theory there.

I forwarded the email to Jeff Ooi (I hope he read it although I'm just a nobody). Hope he can do something about it. ^_^ And I need your help to forward it to everywhere (Friendster, Myspace, your favourite cousin, uncle rock kapak, journalist, blogger, rock stars etc etc). Because all this bullshit got to stop.

There's a press conference at Paul's Place, Jalan Klang Lama, tommorrow at 2pm. Please come to show support if you have some free time. Represent me since I'm still tied up with uni's assignment. Bummer. :(

- Maintain all my relationship (it's not only to muh laling arr...i got family, friends, music and God, ya know :p) and continue improving it.

- Compose few songs...beautifully I hope.

Resolutions

- More blog posts!!

- Practice more NFS than fragging pple in CS.

- Practice bass more often.

- Continue saving up money!

- Continue (and increase the level of) working hard (or a lil bit less) in studies.

- Learn one or two new trends in IT world (refering to programming/software/hardware stuff)

Hmm...that's all I can think of. Actually, the line between expectations & resolution were very thin for me since I can't define things well. Who cares anyway...cheers for 2006!

Walking down the memory lane of 2005.

January 2005
- I no longer working with Xfresh. It brought me some fame (too bad no fortune) & lotsa free stuff. Not bad for 11-month stint.

- LowYat.net LAN Party, my 2nd LAN Party ever. Didn't win anything but lotsa free stuff. Good times. Big LAN Party are kinda scarce here.

February 2005
- The idea of our own clothing company popped up between me and my roommate. It came to realization on Dec 2005. But it's my own design anyway.

March 2005
- Went to MMUsic Melaka Clinic. My first live taste of Deja Voodoo Spells.

- Earth Quake (29 March)! Since I'm still living at the 2nd floor of the house, we felt the tremble.

April 2005
- The debut of Proton Satria R3. Became one of the earliest people in Malaysia to go hubba hubba inside it.

- The longest term break ever in MMU history started.

- First show of DreamingToSleep at Sri Garden School. Marked as my first show after months of hiatus.

May 2005
- The Great Singapore Trip. First oversea trip without my family. Great times watching Chinese chiqs everywhere. Clevage galore!! Got interviewed by Gamesync. I marked that as the first interview I got as a pro gamer (i didn't get any after that. T_T).

June 2005
- MMU 2005/2006 academic year started.

- Marked as my 5th year in MMU and my 3rd year living at Putrajaya. Also, no more student loan for me since the PTPTN terms alrdy finish. So much for slacking.

- Perodua Myvi were launched followed by Proton Savvy 2 weeks later. Mum choose the Savvy to replace her old Kembara.

- DTS 2nd gig at Fete De La Musique 2005, One Utama. Just strengthen my theory that HELP College student (or rather their events) hates me.

- Shifted to a new room since Slamber Wanker shift to a new house and Chew took over my old room.

- The great M1.luige calls it quit much to the shocks of everyone.

- The beginning of tournament season. Started with WCG.my Inter-college MMU Cyberjaya qualifier and then the 1st CELgames Qualifier at RightZone Setapak.

- DTS recorded our first demo entitled Skydiving Without Parachute at Guitar Galeri Jam Studio, Ampang.

July 2005
- Tournament Tour Da Force continues. Went to Melaka for another outstation tourney - a very memorable event.

- CELgames 2005 finally concludes. Shared the 5th spot with DES.kev. Total prize money from qualifiers equals to RM 800 together with few Corsair thumbdrives and a Sonic Gear headset. Marked the first official appearance of DES.luige (since he wore the FMJ shirt on that day). Go figure.

- Promoted to M1.NFS Division Head. It's a tough job!! Our new sponsor was revealed to us (the 3 NFS admins) by BBchai which is Inferno World.

August 2005
- DTS demo CD finally out. Still got a few left if any of you want it. Will give one to any Malaysians that buy my t-shirt.

- Darkest hour of the year. Half of the housemates shifted out without even discussing it first with me (only when they alrdy sort through their new residence, they consult me. WTF?). Shifted to the ground floor a.k.a ruang tamu of the house. The bills were insane and the house were really in financial fiasco. I chunk out the last of my loan money to pay most of em. Plus installing new phone & internet line, everything cost me around RM 500 (which I get back not even half of it).

- Event of the year! WCG Malaysia 2005. Camera got stolen. National rank #8, Inter-College #2. Inferno World treat us dinner kao kao after it all end.

September 2005
- Tournament season already finish so my time were filled by studies.

- Went to see T.M Stevens and Neil Zaza at Planet Hollywood for their Cort Melodic Funk Tour. Serious
music fun.

- Ditch NFSU2 and started playing CS 1.6 & CS:CZ extensively.

October 2005
- Finally, passed my CP1 exam! A major milestone siot...

- Me and Aznin celebrated our 2nd year anniversary. Another major milestone =D

- Ramadhan month arrived again. Went to work with Seng Yip's mum. They have a unique business scope.

- DTS 3rd gig, at HELP College's Talent Time/Prom Audition, without Micheal and TJ. We roped in Romi, Seng Yip's friend from college. HELP College were kind enough to give a show but they being bitchy to us again. Really-really ironic. Decided not to do gigs without Mike and TJ again.

November 2005
- 1st Syawal falls on 3rd November which is my birthday in Gregorian Calender. My age ticked to 22 years old.

- 2nd semester starts. It's a bitchy semester.

- Need For Speed : Most Wanted came out. Finished the career mode 8 days later.

- Bought my 3rd bass, SX Jazz Bass V.

December 2005
- My first product from Gigster Clothing debut - http://www.cafepress.com/gigster/

- Promoted to Elite status in Lowyat.net Forum for my contribution of Bass knowledge in Musician sub-forum. For the first time, I've been honoured for my music work. I'm so touched. Hey, it might look small to everybody, but it's really big for this fellow that don't even know his way around fretboard. XD

- Darkhors.E.Sports (formerly known as FMJ) website were launched. Many people like to talk about MAS-1 <-> DES rivalry (as it appeared at WCG Malaysia 2005) but at least for me, I'm down with DES peeps, man. What for gaduh2? The scene is bloddy small for god sake.

- MAS-1 changing server. Working on some behind the scenes work.

- Rock The World 6! Dig my blog for my rants of this awesome, kick ass, burned nuts rock festival of the year!

In a nutshell
It have been a really-really interesting year. 1st year as a pro gamer (that still have no monthly salary) and couping with what can be considered as one of the toughest point in my life. Some achievement here and there...not bad. Plus, first recording experience and back to stage jumping. Just nice I guess.

Next up, Pt.2 of the New Year post =D

It's here guys! The first ever merchandise from Chapree Da Grande...hell, i doubt pple read my blogs but I love to design clothing (hah! I bet you guys dunno that! :p) anyway.

I also doubt Malaysians can afford to buy this. Really, it's like USD 20 plus shipping and stuff, it could reach a whooping RM 90 for this mofo (remember, my Maroon 5 shirt?). But if any of you Malaysians folks buy it, I'll send some free stuff right to your home.

If there's some demand, I'll have it printed locally for you folks out there. Damn, I want to have one too actually...

The story behind this design rooted back to the times where I gigged a lot (both as spectators & performers). Most of the gigs I went that time, I would meet the same people. By coincedence, it were also the time Friendster started to get popular (yeah, it's a while ago...). One day, we kinda joke around and voila, the word "gigster" were borned. Hahahah...so, I dedicate this clothing line to my gigsters. You know who you are ;)

There's more to come...more design, more product (thongs anyone? LET ME SEE THAT THONGG THONG THONGG!) and of course, the premier of my another brainchild & collabration. I appreciate with all my heart if you guys could spread the word around ^_^

Don't forget, the shop is here. Click click ;) --> http://www.cafepress.com/gigster

The Annual Rock Hangover - Rock The World!
Mood:  caffeinated
Topic: Music
Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Jason Lo, you just earned my props. ROCK THE WORLD 6 is the BEST of the series so far! Every year, over 10,000 music lovers will come together to mosh, skank, headbang, groove, jump, pogo & dance in the name of rock (and their branches). From a car park venue to national monument-status stadium, Rock The World just becoming better and better.

This time I went in for free courtesy of Petrina (the girl that own "I Fancy Bass Player" shirt. Thanks girl! You rock!). Together with her, my "always there" rocker buddy - Albert and a newfound Malaysian studying in Singapore friend (sorry dude, i'm bad with names :p), we hit the annual rock fest with open ears & soul. Later, Choon How @ Frus & the gang joined us. Lovely evening...simply a day to remember.

So let's go through this year band...how they rock the shit out of everybody (not in order of their stage appearances).

The Instrumentalist a.k.a Made Everybody's Jaw Drop

Cosmic Funk Express - Everybody was like "Woah, funky band name. Hope their band gonna be funky too,". OMG, how they got their wishes...Alda and the boys delivered exactly what they want. Zack throw in some mad tapping and read this, DOUBLE GUITAR PLAYING! Not double necks, it's two guitars! Alda gave some uber bass solo & Alex made the drums beg for mercy. Don't believe me? You got to see with your own eyes man...

Deja Voodoo Spells - What can you expect from the guitarist that have jammed with Steve Vai, Gary Hoey, Marty Friedman & Sting before? A hell lot of in your face riff! Man, how am I jealous with his fingering. It moved gracefully but sounded like the the notes were going 200 km/h. Ainol, behind the drums (I always dubbed him as Portnoy prodige') were as the same beast as Rithan. Ainol showed precision, groove & speed at the same time. Their bassist groove as hard as his fellow two monsters which is not an easy task to do. At one time, Rithan tease the crowd with a medley of Metallica's Sad But True, Deep Purple's Smoke On The Water & Jimi Hendrix's Purple Haze (actually, i forgot which Metallica tune he played :p). Damn, he really got us. LOL. Did I mention they have 2 people playing on one synth keyboard? Man...

The Space Travellers a.k.a Weed Are For The Wuss

Furniture - Used to be named as R.U.S.H, these fellows are the front runner of local Chinese indie scene. I only know one song - Chasing Tipperary. Too bad also that time, me and the peeps were taking a break and busy debating about evolution & creation. LOL
-http://www.earsofa.com/-

Seven Collar T-Shirt - I'm still lepaking with the peeps at the track area watching SCTS from far ahead. All song they played that night were from the Drones album. My favourite were Faith and War Is Over. Faith is very Radiohead/Coldplay-ish and god damn spacey while War Is Over is full of emotional feelings. Just love 'em.

The Pop Generation a.k.a We Can Make You Party All Night Long

Frequency Cannon - the winner of Hitz.TV Blast Off, damn they just rock the stage! Thank god the stage can handle them. Kuachee's voice sounded a lil bit distorted. He sounded better the last time I saw them. Overall, they make everybody dance as hard as them on stage. Oh, they covered LO's Evening News. Sounded very funny...

O.A.G - The front runners of mainstream pop rock, there's nothing much to talk about them. Awesome dancy pop rock tune, Radhi's rockstarism same as usual...oh, he smashed a guitar on stage. Simply 1337!

The Times - Basically, kinda the same like OAG. Not really listening because I busy walking around and bump into Frequency Cannon. When you bump into Frequency Cannon, you'll met Azrul, the bassist. Azrul also a gamer so we haveeee a longgg chatttt. Kinda ignore The Times. No offence to their fans :p

The Skankers

Gerhana Ska Cinta - They start their set with Star Wars's Emperor/Darth Vader tune. Complete with the marching...hahahah~ This band I can say they are like on taiko level alrdy since most of the band members are working musicians (the bassist played for DBKL Orchastra & the vocalist were backup vocalist for Siti Nurhaliza if i'm not mistaken. While the drummer, Bakri...damn, siapa tak kenal Bakri? Hahahahah!). Dancy ska+pop tunes with a few re-energise classic song covers.

Plague of Happiness - if GSC make you dance nerves move, POH brings it upnotch with their wild & heavy ska. Skank it hard, bebeh...too bad their set start around Maghrib time, I got to refrain myself. Sincerely, if they don't have horns section, it would sounded damn empty. For me, their horns section actually holding up the melody. That doesn't mean their vocalist, guitarist, bassist or drummer is not good but yeah, without the horns they gonna have hard times.

The [insert type]cores

Vormit - grindcore (some said they are metal also). Where the song usually less than 2 minutes long and you can't understand a thing they sang. That's the reality man. Heavy, fast and you just can't understand all those growl from the vocalist. Masing-masing punya cara, muzik tetap universal. *thumbs up*. Reminds me of Custom Daisy.

Cassandra - hardcore. Can be considered as veteren giggers, this band featured dual-vocalist - one growls and one emo-like vocals. Can't understand them much either but they have more melody and stucture than Vormit. They are different genres anyway.

The Veterens a.k.a We've Been Here Couple of Times, Man

Disagree - Veteran grunge head are back in the RTW line-up. This marked their 4th appearance at RTW. Since they were from the same company that brought us RTW, we can't complain much :p Been listening to them since I start gigging, they kinda quiet lately...kinda happy to saw them but since they didn't play any new songs, I can't be bothered.

LO - Teh owner of Rock The World literally, he entertain the crowd with his usual stand-up comic ("Yeah, I love you...I love your girlfriends too...") and awesome rock n roll music. If i'm not mistaken, all the song were from his latest album. Love his current single, Sleepyhead. LO totally rocks sial...

PopShuvit - The final band that night. Phewh, the remaining crowd still have energy rooting for them. They invited some familiar faces to join them on percussions such as Hitz's Jakeman & Jimmy of Tempered Mental plus 3 violinist chicks! w0000t! They close the fest with Jump, putting the smile on everybody and of course, you got to jump like there's no tommorrow!

The Taikos

The A.C.A.B - Woah, it's been a while since I saw these punk oi! fellas. But then that night, the songs they played lack the energy (and oi-ness) that I used to listen & love during my high school years. I guess they just evolved...

The Pilgrims - Woaaahhh, wickeeed! Me, Albert and the MY-SG fella can't resist ourself to dance to them. Compared with A.C.A.B, these fella still sounded like good old days. The Chura-Leya song & Sua Sue Good Morning drives the crowd nuts. The best comeback ever although all songs they played were the old ones. Who cares when you busy dancing to it?

Langsuyr - "Kami bukan band black metal yer, tulis betul2...kami band DEATH metal!". I pity them for their album release delay. No thanks to all propaganda of mainstream media on "Black Metal" recently. They are pretty much like your local metal bands - furious, heavy and hard. I'm no metal head so I can't say or do much other headbangs. It's all about speedy riff & drums...headbang sampai lebam!

Random rants

- Purple lightsss! (Celcom Xpax theme color is purple) I came out with a theory. The fella that run Xpax division must be Barney. Eiyeerrgghh!

- There's one fighting incident happens. It's not at the mosh pit, it's somewhere at the right side of the stage. Flying kick, pogo, hantam ramai-ramai all got la...dunno what the reason though.

- Just when Langsuyr set started, it started to rain. It felt like Matrix Revolution climax showdown scene. Why? Langsuyr vocalist wore Matrix-like suit. Hahahaha~

- I parked my bike at the same spot I parked for Linkin Park concert & RTW 5. Maybe I should just rent the spot for the rest of my life. Next time when I alrdy have a car, I can park easily. LOL.

- No neck pain this time since I made less movement with my neck, more with my body. Which brings me to a huge swarm of back pain...adoihhh...

You can find some RTW6 pictures at Jennihsurf.net and Glaring Notebook Trained (when he post his December pictures).

That's it guys...see you fellas at Rock The World 7!! Damn, that's a very long post.

In The Middle of Decision.
Mood:  rushed
Now Playing: G3 Jam (Satriani,Vai & Malmsteen) - Rockin In The Free World
Topic: Life
Note : Blogged this post while waiting for my notes to finish printing.

It's week 5 of MMU's Semester 2 Academic Year 2005/2006. Well, left 3 week more...I bet every single student already burned out from their neverending assignments. Yours truly includes...thank god today is a public holiday for Selangor. So I'm truly grateful for the extra one day break. Everybody needs them.

The bad thing about this one day break is we have to replace classes. It's quite a bummer since relatively, short semester schedule were quite crammed. So the replacement classes were usually held during lunch time or at night. Cramped alrite...

Been listening to Rockin In The Free World a lot today. I felt very insecure about life lately. Maybe due to the fact graduating university seems very far ahead and I'm really not competent in my studies. My math skills already rotten and to be honest, I have no idea is my academic side of the brain still working or not.

Oh, come this Saturday, Rock The World 6 - the annual Malaysian independent rock fest. Yours truly will be there for his annual visit. I don't know if i'm gonna be topless again, but as I'm older now, I doubt it would happen. My baby darling not coming this time (poor her), I guess this time it's my chance to get reacquinted with mosh pit (and my old friends). Never been a better time to mosh than this week. Heh.
